What Stays
Available nowNot every thought needs a permanent home. Write it or speak it - then choose what happens next: release it, seal it until a date you choose, or keep it on purpose.

Say it, then let it go. After a short undo window, the entry and the key that opens it are removed from your journal.
02
Lock it away until a date you choose. It reopens to you - later, when it lands differently.
03
Deliberately hold on to it. A small, on-purpose collection - not an endless feed.
The journal is free, for good: writing, speaking, supported on-device transcription, the three endings, encrypted export and restore, and everything you have already written. There is no account and nothing to renew.
Plus is one purchase, £14.99 in the UK, with no subscription. It adds encrypted sync through your own folder and optional on-device reflection on supported iPhones and Android phones. Reflection is experimental, off by default, and only runs when you ask. Check what your phone supports in Settings before buying. Every install starts with fourteen days of the full product, with no automatic charge when they end. The store shows the price in your own currency before you buy.
Without a copy elsewhere, losing your phone can mean losing your journal. Settings lets you make an encrypted export, locked with a passphrase you keep. Exports are manual. Sync keeps devices in step, including deletions; it is not a substitute for a separate backup.
